Campaign for Better Health Care Register now for our next statewide conference call! Delays In Obamacare with Special Guest Speakers Dave Chandra, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities Grant LaMahann, Small Business Majority Monday, September 9, 12pm CST It is big news when HHS decides to delay the implementation of a major ACA provision like the employer mandate or the individual out of pocket cap. But do these delays mean Obamacare is failing, or is there a long game in place when slowing the pace of these provisions? Join us on Monday, September 9 for a discussion about several of the more prominent delays in implementation, and analysis of what these delays really mean for the law. Call Agenda Jim Duffett, Executive Director, Campaign for Better Health Care, with an update on enrollment activities in Illinois. Dave Chandra, Senior Policy Analyst, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, will discuss the individual out of pocket cap: what the delay is about, how it actually works in the context of Obamacare, and is the opposition right in painting it as a strike against the law? Grant LaMahann, Outreach Director, Small Business Majority, will examine what caused the delay in implementing the employer mandate, and is this a positive or negative in terms of this context? As always, your questions and comments for all our speakers, taken and answered. The Statewide Conference Call Series is a free resource for advocates presented by the Campaign for Better Health Care. Please visit this link to register and join us on Monday, September 9. Your questions for our speakers can be submitted using the registration form as well.
