Camper Supply List Every day: water, lunch, sneakers, snack! On July 8th and August 7th, we will be watching the Fisher Cats play! We ask that on these days campers arrive wearing sunscreen and a red shirt. It gets hot out there; please make sure your child has a water bottle to stay properly hydrated! July 31st is the day we will hike Head’s Pond Trail. Our walk will total 3 miles. We will picnic after 1.5 miles at our turn around point, so please make sure your child’s picnic lunch is easily transportable. We ask that campers arrive in a red shirt with bug spray. A water bottle is again important for your camper to bring with them. Beach Days are a camp favorite at Fun in the Sun! This summer we will be taking 5 trips to Hampton Beach State Park on July 3rd, 17th, and 24th as well as on August 14th and 21st. Campers should arrive by 9 am, at the absolute latest, ready to go with their red shirt, bathing suit, and sunscreen. Please have your camper pack a second red shirt (campers will swim with red shirts over bathing suit) and change of clothes for bus ride home and remainder of the day. Lunch will be eaten at noon on beach days. If you would like to provide your child with cash, they can purchase their lunch or a snack at the store at Hampton Beach. Campers are welcome to wear open toed shoes on beach days (bring sneakers for play in the gym at end of day). Towels and water bottles are also important to bring along! Plastic shopping bags are suggested to place the camper’s wet clothes in after changing. The last week of camp, on August 19th, we will be tie-dyeing. We ask that your child come with a white shirt, with their name written in permanent marker on the tag. If campers want to tie-dye an article of clothing instead of a t-shirt, socks, cloth shorts, or tank tops are also welcomed!
