Can I vent to my sweeper friends without sounding like a spoiled sweeper.... Ok so beginning of May I won a trip to Hawaii, and as part of the win I get to be an extra on Hawaii 5-0. They told me I would be traveling in the fall, as of last week they still couldnt give me a travel date (I was checking in every other week). Problem was I already had a trip planned for Cancun in the fall, so I needed a firm date if I was going or not so I could cancel my Cancun trip if need be. Heard nothing, but the cancellation date on Cancun was coming up if I wanted a full refund- and EPrize was sticking to yes youll travel this year in the fall. Due to vacation time at work and such I couldnt take both trips this year. So I cancelled my Cancun trip so I could get a full refund. EPrize writes me today saying sorry it looks like several more months til we can get a firm date for you since the start of filming is delayed, and no one is in the studio to give us answers. WHAT? I see pictures on FB that they are currently filming, so did EPrize just lie to me? I wrote them back asking to book my trip and forfeit the portion of being on the TV show. Im so frustrated now I dont even want to go on the show, BTW Ive never even watched it so I wasnt to excited about that part. What would you have done? I guess well wait to see if they even allow that option.
