Can all my teacher friends and all other moms please explain this email that went out to all of us.............. I feel that as a parent we are all entitled to sit down for the whopping 8 minutes they give us to talk to our childs teachers.........im totally confused.... This year the format for the scheduling of parent-teacher conferences will be based upon student concerns as determined by the teaching staff. A priority has been placed on providing conferences to the parents/guardians of students determined to be at-risk academically, socially, or behaviorally; therefore, later this week the parents/guardians of those students will be receiving information on the scheduling of a conference with one or more of their childs teachers. For all other parents/guardians, should you wish to request a discussion with your childs teacher(s) regarding student progress, you will need to contact the teacher(s) directly via email or phone by no later than October 28th. All requests will be acknowledged by our teaching staff; however, these discussions may be held by phone, via email, or may be held at an alternate time.
