Can anyone help us to help this kind person please; I have searched your website and it seems you only primarily deal with dogs. But even if you could help me in my search I would be extremely thankful. 4 months ago my cousin gave me a kitten that his dog had found, no owner came forward so I agreed to take her in. I have since come to love and adore her and wanted to do everything right. 2 months ago when I took her into the vet, he told me that she was still a very young kitten and I should wait 3 months to have her neutered. Over the past few weeks I noticed that she was, excuse my bluntness, getting fat. I had believed she had worms or something and was going to take her back to the vet. The other morning she was crying persistently before I left for work and it teared at my heart to leave her in such a state so I was going to take off work and take her to the vet. I came home to 4 new kittens. My landlord has just found out and says he does not want the cats in the house and that I must take them to the vet to be put down . My heart sank and I was speechless, I just walked away. To me its not even an option, I shudder at the thought. I will go to any length to see to it that the right thing is done. I had said if I wait till theyre weened off their mother then find them homes, and that door was closed, he said they must go now. If I could just find a home for the 5 of them temporally and then once weened I will continue to find a home for each of the new kittens I would be so relieved. I read your About Us page and at the end had a tingle in my nose and watery eyes. How so true, it stirs motivation deep inside me and ideas began flooding my mind, from seeking discount dog food from manufacturing plants, to discounts from ESB to truly not-for-profit organisations, and lobbying to the government. Whether or not you can help me or even steer me in the right direction I would like to help Paws. I think the biggest is generating awareness. I had once heard of Paws when I worked in Japan a few years ago, but other than that I dont know a whole lot. Please, any feedback you can give on my dilemma is most appreciated. I will of course bear any costs for these feline friends as I must take responsibility. I have tried adverts.ie, donedeal.ie and few other resources to no avail.
