Can anyone recommend a good repair service for my Canon 24-105mm L lens. It needs a service/re-grease and also I think the ribbon cable inside is in need of replacement (ERR 01 inevitably happens at long end of the zoom range). I was quoted £148 from Canon, but means shipping it away, which I would rather avoid doing. So far Ive had recommendations of Calumet, and the guy in Morningside. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with these guys, or maybe recommend another option?
