Can i have my story anon please? I fell pregnant at 20 with my ex we were over the moon our 1st baby! Midwife went great etc went to first scan so excited to find out baby had anencephaly, i was sent to epu had never heard of anen in my life, doctors basically told me i needed to be induced with no explanation of what was wrong i was sent on my way with a leaflet about induction. Home i went to look online and it broke my heart. Asked for another scan to see for myself and was induce at 14 weeks gestation. I so wish i hadnt now and carried on, i only took 1 pic of my baby after he/she was brought to me wrapped in a tissue!! (was not happy about that atall) small enough to fit in my hand i was given half an hour and sent home with nothing but a burial to arrange :(. I then fell preg again and had a miss at 9weeks follwed by d&c, still question myself on what i done different with my first 2 pregnanys to the 2 with my rainbow kids with my current husband, what if this that and the next and so regret being induced and not having time with my angel. And untill i found this group i never classed myself as a mum b4 my 2 rainbow kids las id been so wrong to abort. 6-12-07
