Can someone please pinch me (nicely, of course) because I feel like I am in a dream. I accepted a position with University of Washington Medical Center as a Patient Care Technician (Certified Nursing Assistant) over the weekend!! YAHOO!! As of right now, I start on April 21, which is even crazier. I will be a float crew member so I will be receiving experience in all the different departments of the hospital, including the Emergency Room! This is totally the position I have been waiting and hoping for, plus even though my social life may have its challenges for a bit, I will be working three 12-hour overnight shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
