Due to the constant violence that surrounds Muslim countries, the world and media has trained to us to keep a blind eye and think of it as everyday news. But the question is what can you do? There is no 1 day, 1 week or 1 year solution for what is happening in our homelands. No matter how many times you bring this agenda up or highlight it, it will never change by feeling sorry or by giving a few minutes of sympathy and getting back to doing what you were doing. Awareness is futile against idleness and apathetic initiatives towards your community and society. Believe it or not, WE all hold the responsibility for what is happening, WE are not good Muslims , WE never support each other and WE dont treat our brothers the way we want to be treated ourselves, take a good look around you. We lie, cheat, hate, take advantage and oppress one another. We take our ego as our best ally and morals as our worst enemy. We are the main problem for our suffering before we start pointing a finger at others. My words may be harsh but I cant stress the fact that we are useless with no voice in a world that is advancing and leaving us behind, what regresses, or stays the same never progresses. We will be hearing the same stories over and over if we remain the same. Whenever you see the news next time let it serve as a reminder of what you contributed for others in need (excluding the usual 2 to 3 minutes of sympathy everyday) and let it be a fuel to make yourself work harder to support your parents, your siblings, your relatives, abandoned orphans and people in need. To improve yourselves, morally, religiously and spiritually. Education and mental awareness of an individual for his societys needs serves as the only solution. There are no shortcuts, filling yourself with emotion and overwhelming rage will never save you, your family or your country. A level-headed, rational, patient and educated man who makes his actions do the talking for him serves much more than emotional man no matter how much he screams his lungs out of all the injustice in the world. There is no strength and there is no power to accomplish good deeds but with the help of Allah, the High, the Supreme. I ask you to pray for all the Muslims around the world that are under persecution, under all the oppressive regimes, unlawful occupation & siege, war criminals, sectarian war, religious war, tribal war, civil war and religious extremists. To keep them steadfast against constant terror and to find relief and solace by having Allah close to their hearts, knowing that His Promise is True and to keep them patient by having placed their trust in Allah. May Allah Bless all the men who say less and do more.
