Now multiply those numbers and we get 5.9 trillion miles/year. Ok so how far is 4.2 light years? Now multiply, 4.2x5.9x10^12= 24.6 trillion miles!!!!! So, now back to my main point. The quote should read, shoot for the moon and even if you miss, you will land in the empty, cold, dead vacuum of space, about 24.6 trillion miles away from a star.
