Can we all not see, How privileged we are? Parasitic, destroying. Which argument will be, The next headline, Politically driven half truth or lie. Fashioned to pit you against me. Societies controlled through anger and fear, All throughout time. Meanwhile the planet is crying. Sodiers sent to war over oil and dying. The general population too busy fighting one another, Rather than trying, To right our wrongs. My brothers, my sisters, We need to get together as one. We need to root out the tyrants, Or this real war we are fighting, Will never be won. We need to look beyond our own boundaries, See through others eyes. There are whole countries starving. Madmen controlling with gun. We often think our situation in life is bleak. For all the wrong reasons. Our team lost or that horrible politician won. Meanwhile we rape and pillage, Out of sight out of mind we think. Without a care what is done. The seas are rising, Whole species dissappear daily. Kind of makes you wonder when, We will be the next ones. Will we also destroy in our downfall, All the life on earth? Nuclear power plants frying. All existence is shunned. Greed, hatred and lies. Brought us here. Only truth, love, sacrifice and compassion, Can see all the wrongs undone.
