Can you feel that? Its the future. I feel it in my bones, my soul sometimes wishes to run into it screaming a battle cry to rally our spirits, other times it grasps at the shadowy corners of time either to prolong this emotion or to shy from some personal turmoil. (Most often self induced) It matters not my will or want to the time that lays ahead, the time behind me marches steadily forward while simultaneously screaming for our attention in an effort to impale or trample me as Im looking behind. We can brace for the impending but alas we cannot prepare for the greater mysteries of our unknown lives as fate alters with our every waking thoughts and actions. Welcome to now, this is the moment created and fashioning ourselves in ever changing moments of muddled clarity, LIFE as we call it. I shall embrace mine today, having faith in my Lord to guide me in the currents of time, placing me in eddies of His choosing and propelling me down the narrow channels of despair till Im safely back in the flat waters. That is where I must be most aware, for the breeze can float me back until the forward is not my direction, I must paddle to stay gaining any form of direction. To stand still with no effort would be an insult to the Glorious Creator of this mystical river we flow down everyday until it forks with the river Styx. Stay braced in everyone. Its going to be a marvelous ride, learn to read the water and always take the hero route. Why?!? Because we live in the NOW, and none of us will make it out alive.. I find that blessing comforting, does the water scare YOU?
