Can you imagine living at Lacock Abbey and having the Great Hall as your living room? Henry Talbots children often played games of battledore and shuttlecock here (its a bit like badminton). Can you imagine that, with all the delicate terracotta figures around?! If you pick up one of our rackets you might get to know this beautiful hall a little better. Special mirrors reveal details of the heraldic shields on the ceiling and the sculptures. Thanks to volunteer Barry Batchelor for taking these photos.
