Cancer Survivors & Their Children is a non-profit organization founded by Magdalene Ratcliff. The organization was founded February 10, 2012 based on the need Magdalene saw as she herself went through the battle of fighting cancer. At every doctors appointment she sat in the waiting room with other cancer patients as they wait to see the doctor. While waiting she started to think about how she could help cancer patients and their families. It came apparent to her that childcare would be a major issue for patients because treatment could be very expensive, exhausting and time consuming. There had to be someone who could look after the children while parents fought this awful disease. Being a Daycare owner, Magdalene decided to start a foundation that would provide quality childcare free of charge while parent (s)/guardian go through the fight of cancer. Cancer Survivors & Their Children deserve and need quality daycare without having to worry about the cost. Childcare is very expensive so join Magdalene and Cancer Survivors & Their Children Foundation as we raise money to help provide quality childcare.
