Cancer Treatments : Complementary and Alternative There is no scientific evidence to show that any of the multi cultured, multi coloured, energy based, crystal based, story based treatment methods actually work. This is a time where tabloids, and educational programs are promoting stories of cancer cures and mostly a positive marketing strategy directed at those affected and those suffering. It is easy for these claiments to find something like cancer, in the hopes that if they get better (continuing treatment, wrong diagnosis, natural remission, other) to claim as a success and when it gets bad to blame the gods, karma, etc. Arguments from the heart, national pride, straw man arguments, faith based arguments lack the scientific rigor to withstand the close analysis. This is not a philosophical discussion, or a political one. It is a scientific one. As the human physiological principles are more or less the same in all human beings, we should be able to test and show whether something works or not. But most think that it is better to go ahead and publicize and sell the cure rather than do the actual work to show that it is the real thing.
