Cancer is the Cosmic Mother; she who has been denied in our system. When the Moon is in Cancer I get a feeling that no one is motherless and its true. If there is a part of us that needs comforting and nurturing meditating or focusing awareness when Moon transits her home in Cancer is a potent time to connect with that energy. The ascension process has picked up pace as Sun has made his transit through Pisces and will be until the 21st of March; the Spring Equinox when we enter retrograding Mars domain--Aries.. Thats as long as we have to surrender the parts of our ego that no longer serve us.. There is much talk of completely getting rid of ego due to the ego being the part of us that holds on and doesnt want to change and let go, but ego is also the part of us that jumps! We need ego, if we didnt have ego we wouldnt be able to get anything done, its how we use it that matters :) Following the Equinox the focus is on tuning the Aries vibration with a new Mars-direct-ego on the horizon.. This can be painful if we are stuck in the old-age-ways and when Sun humps over Uranus at the beginning of April which is also opposing Mars retrograde among other aspects, ouch, there may be a break down that could have just as easily been a revelation if we listen to our inner voice and integrate the Soul... On another note, Jupiter has started to move forward in Cancer expanding our awareness and will take about a month to pick up pace. Let our awareness be on that of the Mothering nurturing side in us all that comforts our own egos and lets it know that everything is ok through these transitions as self-compassion is key right now.
