Cannot touch the new wheel or the new loom until my work is finished (and there are miles to go), but am planning how to pass along the Ashford Traditional. It was my first wheel, and has been much loved and productively used. Its an excellent machine, and I wouldnt be setting it loose now if an opportunity to good to resist hadnt come along. The wheel was a stroke of good luck and generosity when it came to me, and I would very much like it to be that for someone else. I am not keeping it. Im not looking for suggestions* about how best to find the wheel a new home, Im just mentioning in advance (because Facebook is so tricky these days about hiding your feed from your friends) that this feed is where Ill post the plan once its fully formulated. *This means please dont give me any. Please. I have learned from experience that it will not end well.
