Cant even begin to describe how ALIVE I feel right now. Operation help Brad and Mom is in full swing and its amazing. I find myself taking the notion that we are the authors of our own life adventure even more to heart these days.... And I am so thrilled about the chapter I am crafting now. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping, serving, fully loving other people. Its kind of weird because I mean to be filling THEM up and here I am finding myself filled to the absolute brim. Its really true what they say... The more you give the more you get. And you know... to take this one step further.... I know a lot of people that have an interesting relationship to the word pride, and I want to encourage them to shift it.... To me, I fully believe in being prideful, completely and totally proud of ourselves - because if we are not, then we should be doing something DIFFERENT! We should be doing things that make ourselves proud everyday. We are blessed with that opportunity. If we are not proud of ourselves or the decisions were making, we should choose something else. Every word that is written in our life story is our choice, so lets make them good ones!! When I look back on my life I know that those times that I stopped are going to be the most memorable, the most cherished. When I stopped school years ago to assist Brad financially for a semester, and when I missed a big conference at the San Diego Zoo where I was going to be the keynote speaker to go see and spend time with Jadaka - a young lady who is extra special to my heart, and now....the time I left my dream life and dream jungle in Costa Rica to become a pillar of strength, love, and compassion for my family - these are the times and memories I will take with me to my grave. Right now in this moment, my heart is soooo open, my actions are soooo vital, and I can see my reflection in the beauty and awesomeness of my mom and Brad. Its breathtaking. Im also re-kindling my relationship with asking for help.... So here goes....
