Cant say Im surprised of the verdict. But one thing is for sure, the riots, the candle light vigils, the protests havent changed anything. Racism is so engrained in our judicial system, in our systems, and does not value a black persons life the way it does any other race, and thats a fact. Unfortunately there are some of us who dont value someone who looks like us either. The hate toward one another, the self hate, the competition, the comparison, the light skinned, dark skinned bullshit, has been so engrained in our psyche for hundreds of years... To keep us mentally enslaved, to keep us separate. And weve continued it over generations. Most dont even realize it. Its unconscious. Until we do something different, your great, great, great grandchildren will be subjected to the same. Try LOVE ❤️ for self, and for others, mostly those who look like you.
