Cant wait to go see my mermaid garden by the pond that I made this spring. Its my special place where I sit with nature and get recharged. Ive planted a few things like the lavender plant my daughter gave me for my birthday, and some irises and columbine, and petunias but I also left many of the wild things that grow there like yarrow, wild strawberries, and daisies. My mermaid connects me to the energy of the water, while my rocks hold the space for grounding. I found this awesome boulder a few years back that was buried in the side of a ridge totally covered by jungle. As I was hiking along, something stopped me and pulled my energy there. I had no idea why I was suddenly climbing through a massive overgrowth of trees, bushes, poison ivy, and brambles up a steep slope. When I got to the top, my energy was then pulled down the other side of the ridge directly to this boulder lodged in the dirt about halfway down. When I saw it, I gasped. Its amazing and it made it very clear to me that it held a special kind of power for me. Lucky for me, Jim is also a rock person and when I showed it to him, he agreed that it needed to be with us. Somehow we managed to get the backhoe back there and he tied a strap around the thing and I steered it out while Jim ran the boom. Its nice to be married to the same kind of crazy ;)
