Capitalism at its finest this thanksgiving. The wealthy store owners snap their fingers to watch the minions leave their families and/or free time with the promise to make more money to provide for their families. Then there are the other minions who need to get bargains and deals at a price they can afford, to give gifts to family and friends. All the while the fat cats are watching and laughing from their illegal ivory towers as the working class (the ones THEY should be thankful for because we keep them wealthy) scurry around like hamsters on a wheel never getting anywhere. I am NOT thankful for the imbalance of wealth and power in the world. I am thankful for the people and things I do have and for the people trying to make a difference.
