Capitalism itself is a conquest of Feudalism. Unfortunately, the former only replaces the players. It retains all it exploitative strategies, even with deadly detrimental means. It mode of operations are so corny that the victims are left in perpetual ignorance of it afflictions. A system that produces one BIG man (an opportunist) and put thousands in servitude. Just yesterday, I graced an occasion; a mighty birthday party thrown on a working Monday. The sponsorer (son of the celebrant) is a thick man, dwelling in opulence and plenty. He was the rally point, though he was celebrating his own mum. Other siblings and (extended) family members make him the king- the feudal Lord. These people failed to realise that their Lord (directly or indirectly) contributes to their afflictions. Some of the indigent family members practically turned to beggars at the event. Their Big man is definitely benefiting from the lopsided opportunities. He floats a renown finance outfit that records huge success. But ask him if he is following the due process. How well does he take care of the workers that generate the wealth. How much returns go back to those that contributed the pool of capital that keep the company standing tall. The question goes on. Im only sure that all corporate businesses in Nigeria exploit the loop holes created by their friends in politics to swindle the masses. So returns on investment are always unreasonably humongous at the expense of the nation economy. The state commissioner of Police abandoned his official duty (on a Monday) to sneak into the event. Im sure he had a swell time. This tells us that the Law makers, the Law interpreters, the law executors and business men are one and only. The same interest bonded them together. It is only the poor masses that are bundled to the other side of the equation. The gate man (private security) operative) to the BIG Man became a nuisance, harassing whoever cares to listen; he takes his offering sack around for a deserving egunje. Please, tell me how this poor gate man wl not one day conspire wt the men of the underworld to inflict injuries in this household. He appears poor, yet he quest for a decent living. Call the system we practice in Niigeria any name, all I wl tell u is that its ugly head wl surely consume the operators some day. A just society is on the way! In the meantime, the class struggle continues
