Captivity IN The Eyes Of Men, Prince In God’s Eyes DANIEL CHAPTER 6:..... A kingdom is divided among hundred and twenty princes.The king put three presidents to be their supervisors, one most preferred was a captive from Judah.The spirit of God was in him, the king loved him, made him overseer of all in his kingdom, it did not go well with the princes, presidents, counsellors, governors, captains of the kingdom, how can a captive be given such a position, they set to find fault in this young man, but could not find any, then they decided to use something against his God’s law. After discussions they came up with a plan, they asked the king to built a statue and ask everybody to worship it, bow down to it for thirty days, the king signed the decree anyone who will not bow to this image must be thrown in the lion’s den. When the young man heard that he went to his house, as usually prayed to God, thanking him. He did not bow down to the statue, they went to the king to report him, when the king heard this he tried to find way to spare this young man, but the decree was signed and sealed, the young man was thrown into the lion’s den. The king fasted throughout the night, was up early in the morning to check on the young man, not even one part of the young man was touched, they took him out, and the king ordered all the princes, presidents, counsellors, governors, captains and their families to be thrown in the lions’ den the bible says they did not even touch the ground the lions caught them in the air and ate them. That young man was Daniel, and today the same situation may resonate with any of us. It does not matter what language you speak, what gender you are, what colour you are, but whose spirit you have, or who you serve in your life. Daniel served the living God. It may be that job you are looking for, that promotion you so desperately want so that you will be able to be off and go to worship God, be that deciding moment in your life to ask or be asked for a hand of marriage, or that marriage which is in rumbles, just remember Daniel, they will be those who will look for errors in you, they will ask, about, talk about, but the hand of God will shield those who worship him continually, they will find no error. They will run to the bosses, to your spouse, to your fiancé, or fiancée, and try to tell them to build that graven statue, the lord says just like Daniel do not panic, I am with you, go to your house pray three times as you have done before and thank God, do not try to tell God about what you are going through because he is with you he knows the situation before, after and on the ground. They will convince your bosses, your spouse, even people around you that you did it but the holy spirit will trouble your bosses, your spouse ...even though they will go ahead suspend you at work, separate in your marriage, abandon you as friends, God will send his angels to guard and protect you, shut their mouths, nothing bad will touch you, God will glorify himself in your life, that will be a ladder to higher ground, their shoulders will be your stepping stone to that job, that promotion, that marriage, and all will worship the living God, who created the heavens and the earth.Psalms 46:1010 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
