#Cardiffs Chile midfielder Gary #Medel will not face disciplinary action from the #FootballAssociation despite appearing to raise his hands towards #ManchesterUnited midfielder Marouane #Fellaini during Sundays 2-2 draw, while referee Kevin Friend has been stood down for two games after an incident in another match. The incident was not seen by the match officials and so was reviewed by the FAs panel of former referees who decided that the incident was not worthy of a red card so no action would be taken. Meanwhile, referee Friend, who was at the centre of the controversy surrounding #Sunderland defender Wes Browns dismissal at #Stoke, has not been given a match for the next two rounds of #PremierLeague games. Sunderland have announced they will appeal against Browns red card.
