Career Change Time...Well Sort of :-) 1/ Had my performance review for NSW Fire & Rescue, officially passed & looking forward to the challenges & helping out the wider community 2/ I am now officially the new Trainee Health,Building Surveyor/Project Manager for my local council. Lots of study ahead but will be well worth the challenge. Looking forward to a stable work platform, regular hours & regular pay. Good bye sub-contracting :-) 3/ My role with the Rural Fire Service is encouraged by council to continue serving the wider community This has been a very long time coming, but feeling very blessed to have been given these opportunities. Would never have thought I would become a fire fighter, let alone jump out of helicopters. Yet, to also be given the opportunity to become a building inspector in my local area is awesome. VERY HAPPY indeed. :-)
