Carl Rogers ... The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change. Acquiring facts is not the same as being educated. Knowing that it is healthy to eat three serving of vegetables a day has no value unless one actually eats them. In fact knowing without applying knowledge becomes a personal indictment. To hear one say I know I should, but... Turns the speaker into judge and jury of his own life-trial and the verdict is always guilty. I fully support intellectual curiosity and the hunger to discover, its what keeps us engaged in a growing life. As we add knowledge, let us also take time to apply it. The growth potential of our faith-life is directly connected to 2Peter 1:5... giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful. Have a great day and enjoy the journey! #sundayplusone
