Carnival Cruise Lines just sent out alerts that they are having a 24 hour sale. It ends tonight (1/15)at midnight. Base cabin rates begin at $35. After adding port fees and taxes many passengers will be sailing out of port for the Caribbean at a cut rate price. One example of a cruise I already ran a preliminary check on...Carnival Fascination out of Jacksonville on 2/28 for 5 nights. Base rate pp for inside =$56, Ocean View =$150 and Balcony =$415. ($137pp, $231pp, and $496pp.) Add $12 a day in gratuities and also a small price for travel ins. and there you have it. These are approximate prices that havent been verified and are subject to change by the cruiseline. There are many ships and sail dates that are severely discounted. Carnival isnt my first choice of cruise lines but WOW...this is a great sale. I also noticed some very nice pricing with Royal Caribbean for February and March. In addition my host agency is having a Mystery Money promotion (on board credits) that may well apply here also to sweeten the deal even more.
