Carol Cares...We live in a fearful world today....And did you know, people are watching the way Christians handle fear, more than they are listening to what we say? Fear comes in many disguises...fear of being alone, fear of losing a mate, a child, a friend or loved one, fear of being rejected or misused, fear of losing your identity, and even the fear of the unknown!! These fears can be very destructive instruments in a persons life!! Fear causes worry, aches & pains, loneliness, isolation, paranoia, ineffectiveness in relationships, personality changes...and can even be costly. I read a story of a man who was so possessed with fear that he built a special house in the middle of no where with high walls around it so his children would be protected from danger. In the process of building the fortress one of his children were run over by a car & killed instantly. Fear can be costly!! Friends, there is a cure...its simple & its free! When you ask Jesus to live in your life Hes there forever! He will never leave you nor forsake you; He is your rock, your fortress; He is your shield from the storm; He is your green pasture; He is your JOY in place of fear! The Word says, Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need! I will not be fearful, for HE is close beside me, guiding me all the way! (Ps 23:1,4) I pray you have a joyful day today....love you
