Caroline asks: Two bucklings born today at noon - both have been slow to find a teat, I have had to help them several times. Mother is on second freshening, very cooperative. The firstborn will not suck when I place the teat in his mouth, also will not suck on a finger placed in his mouth. Second born seems to have figured things out within the first few hours and sucks well. I gave them their Bo-se today as the vet suggested. I have been raising goats for 7 years and never had a kid who wouldnt latch on like this. Suggestions?
