Carried to the Table!!! (2 Samuel 9:1-13). Great story of grace and mercy being displayed in the Old Testament. The story of Mephibosheth touches my heart! Mephibosheth is the grandson of King Saul, and Son of Jonathan (Son of King Saul and Davids best friend). Mephibosheth was crippled because of a fall he suffered when young. Mephibosheth is shown grace by King David after his Father and Grand Father were dead. Despite of King Sauls persecution and several times being close to killing David. King David forgot the past and invited Mephibosheth to his palace and told him that he was from that day on to eat at his table! if Mephibosheth could sing a song then, then below is the song that he would sing: I am carried to the table, Seated were I dont belong Carried to the table, Swept away by his love, I dont see my brokenness anymore, When I am seated at the table of the Lord, I am carried to the table, The table of the Lord!!! Grace: getting what I dont deserve from God!!! Mercy: Not getting the punishment for sins committed. Today the King of Kings despite of our sins, disobedience He invites all believers to join Him at the table, and have Koinonia (fellowship) and feast with HIM. https://youtube/watch?v=6jjpK7Kn2IM
