Carrington Moss As I mentioned, Carrington was an Ammunition dump - TopicsExpress

Carrington Moss As I mentioned, Carrington was an Ammunition dump for some time after WWII which has been dug consistently by collectors practically since then and its really a case of the well is dry - however I was lucky enough to literally stumble across this shell case when I was walking the dog out there one time. The bottom is stamped R.A 43. The 43 indicates the year it was manufactured and R.A stands for Remington Arms, an American domestic and military arms manufacturer, established in 1816 and still very much in existence.
