Carson update: The word infection seems to keep popping up..... Just finished antibiotics for 10 days from infected cuts on his knee (wipe out on bicycle)!, night before camp...... boys at this age are not interested in neosporin or changing bandages, go figure! Been fighting a cold, he tested positive Tuesday for 2 viral infections: An upper respiratory & the rhino virus ( common cold) I think were on the tail end of them and the FABULOUS news is (knock on wood) no fevers thus far! & counts holding up pretty good! So we will take it! Recent fungal infection tests will be back next week (praying & crossing fingers) that the numbers have went down & not back up like last time! So he continues on the medication for a year & the docs have given us every reason to believe he will be just fine. For the most part his body has responded well to the treatments. Thankful that hes almost through with chemo and despite it all been doing pretty good ♡
