In those years, by Gods grace, we have had many times of pleasure and pain and have found great joy in serving the Lord together,. ...I arrived at her nursing home today as she was finishing breakfast in the dinning room. After I kissed her hello I said, Today is our 52nd Anniversary honey. Residents and staff who heard oooed and awwwed but Ruth had a puzzled look on her face. When I showed her the beautiful flowers I brought she just stared at them. I had hoped for some recognition but it wasnt meant to be. None the less, I was so pleased to still have my sweety with me on this day. ...We took our morning hall crawl and found Lucy, the cat, on part time duty. She lay covering only half to the computer screen. The worker using it said, Shes sulking because I wont let her have the whole screen. ...After Scripture and prayer I left her at the Beauty Salon, where she was due to have a trim and set. When I said I love you, she nodded her head yes. I do not know if she is loosing her her speech or it is too hard for her to talk. She doesnt seem to know what this day is but I do and I am grateful for every day she is able to bless me grace this world.
