Caruanas Comments 8-21-14 ...I promised I would report on my Quarterly Check Up at the Doctors Office. Yesterday was the day and a review of my blood work was the topic of discussion. It was a good report generally. Two things seemed a bit off 1. My bad cholesterol is not bad enough 2. I am suffering from an allergy. Seems I am pretty good for the shape Im in [round]. ...My erratic pulse seemed to indicate my A-Fib may be recurring and I was told to schedule an appointment with my Cardiologist. I attempted to do so and waited all day including missing Prayer Meeting for a call. So far not a word. I suppose doctors, as well as Presidents, go on vacation this time of the year. ...Today my son Mark had a meeting in Webster so we were able spend a couple hours visiting when he was through. Yesterday I had a long phone conversation with my son Jonathan. It is always a delight to talk to my boys! ...I finally gave in and bought a new cell phone. It has a touch screen. That seems to be the favorite method with all these new devices but believe me it is HARD to teach old dogs and old preachers new tricks :-)
