Caspers Legacy........................(second thread, as the first was getting a bit long) Casper was fostered recently by one of GSREs experienced volunteers. He was an oldie with an undetermined history, sadly due to medical conditions which werent treated or discovered until too late, he was given forever sleep only a short time after going into foster care. He was loved and cared for at the end but that is all that GSRE could do for him. So that his passing with 11 weeks to go to Christmas is not in vain, I am highlighting the 13 oldies that were on the website at the time of his passing..... we need to get half of them into foster or forever homes by Christmas so that they can enjoy warmth and love at the festive time..... please share these oldies and hopefully we can get 50% of them into a new home before Christmas.... never mind the puppies........they get homes at a drop of a hat....the oldies are never that lucky because they dont appear to be cute and fluffy but look beyond their ages to the beautiful dogs they are... and in Caspers name....lets get them somewhere to put their paws for Christmas
