Castilla faces their fourth away match this season against Tenerife in the Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez stadium, a new chance for Toril’s men to turn the hard work and skill shown over the beginning of the season into a win. Two rivals in a delicate situation face off for this seventh La Liga Adelante fixture; both squads need the points to change things around and kick off a positive run. Alberto Toril has called up 18 players for the match; Derik, Quini and Raul de Tomas are injured while Femenia will miss the match due to an illness. To turn things around: this is Castilla’s aim in their visit to Tenerife’s Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez stadium for the seventh La Liga Adelante fixture this season. The Whites have yet to turn their quality game and the chances they’ve had to win over the start of their second season in the 2nd Division into points. However, the players are confident that they can pick up a positive run and climb to a higher spot on the table. It’s with this mindset that the squad travels to Tenerife: “It’s a difficult situation in which you have to keep your head up because we’re playing well. We have to follow through on our shots, keeping pushing forward and give it our all on the pitch”, said Casado in a pre-match interview. Toril, forced to leave injured players Derik, Quini and Raul de Tomas and an ill Femenia at home, has called up 18 players for the match. While luck has escaped Castilla so far the squad is united and optimistic ahead of their fourth away match of the season. “The start we’ve had isn’t typical for the team, but we’re optimistic and know that we can get the three points”, said Mascarell. To do so they’ll have to beat division-newcomers Tenerife; the squad has yet to adapt to the new category and with just two points is currently in second-to-last place in the rankings. After losing last week against Lugo the Canarian side seeks to make a comeback against the Whites for their first win of the season. Alvaro Cervera has called up a 21-man squad for the clash: “We only think about winning. We have that hunger, we’re playing at home and we’re ready for this match”, said the coach.
