Casting Call: Indie Film in Charlotte The indie film ‘Mountain top‘ will be filming in Charlotte this coming Sunday and it is seeking a few extras to come down to the set and participate in the film. The film is seeking to cast people to play family members (ages 13+), inmates (18+) and a lawyer (25+). This is a faith based film and all roles will be unpaid. Mountaintop is based on a book by Rober Whitlow of the same name. It begins with an eccentric old man who cuts lawns and scribbles coded-dreams in a notebook. But the ramblings of the seemingly harmless defendant have created several powerful enemies with deep pockets and deadly determination. When the old man is led through a dream to have Mike Andrews represent him, the former attorney-turned-minister finds himself embroiled in a full-out legal battle brimming with corporate scandal, supernatural evidence, and witnesses who are quickly leaving town to avoid a far worse fate. The film will be shooting in downtown Charlotte, NC. and casting will be handled by Kimmie Stewart casting. Please see the casting call below and follow the instruction to submit your information. Plus, who doesn’t want to see themselves in a movie! *Also please don’t let the names of the roles discourage you, this is a FAMILY, FAITH BASED film.
