Cathelco BWT Unit for Otto Candies NB155 Morning all. We thought you might be interested to see some pictures of the latest commercial BWT system from Cathelco. It is being supplied to the Otto Candies yard in the USA and will be installed on an Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) vessel which is currently under construction. The 150 cubic metre/h unit has been specially designed in conjunction with the yard to fit a small footprint. However, more space is available in terms of height and, therefore, the configuration takes advantage of this by having the control panels mounted above the filter and other components. Picture 1: The skid-mounted unit with the control panels and UV chamber beneath. Picture 2: The switchboard and power cabinet for the lamps, together with the air conditioning unit. Picture 3: The side elevation with the Hydac filter behind the filter control panel. Picture 4: The pipework/valves and the end of the UV chamber (the lamps are not fitted). Picture 5: A close-up shot of the Hydac filter with the UV chamber behind. We hope that this will be one of many units built in 2015 as the volume of orders increases. It certainly provides evidence that Cathelco can design and produce BWT units to the most demanding standards and within strict time constraints.
