Cats. Odd creatures, arent they? Here at Haven de la Angels we have a multi species household: Two exotic birds, two cats and four Siberian creatures. The birds were here first (out of this group of critters that is), then the cats, then the Siberian people. The cats were already well familiar with these varmints called dogs, so there was no prey-animal behavior when I brought Angel home as a wee babe. And a cool cat in the face of a Northern Breed baby is component #1 for making a harmonious household. I wish I had video of all of those firsts, but I was by myself and needed to be paying 110% attention to how it all went down, therefore a camera was out of the question. I will tell you this much though: The cats set the stage for their relationship. Each of the babies, save Pax as she was my homegrown girl with a Lilac Crowned Amazon bird as a nanny and an African Grey that sang her to sleep at night, so a the cats were no big deal, waddled right up to the cats upon arrival home that first night.
