Cavatini 4 cups of pasta blend. (I use spirals, bowties, & small shells) 1 - 32 oz. jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce 1 - 15 oz. can Italian style tomatoes (pureed in blender) 3 1/2 oz. sliced pepperoni, cut in quarters 1 cup cheddar/cheddar jack/Mexican blend or mixed cheese of your choice 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (I tend to use more) 1 small can mild diced chilies (optional) 1/3 cup chopped green pepper (optional) 4 oz. mushrooms (optional) [I use fresh, but canned can be used] Boil pasta according to directions, drain. Put pasta back into kettle. Add the sauce, tomatoes, pepperoni, and whatever optionals you want. (I use all 3 optionals.) Mix all together and pour into a 9 x 13 pan thats been sprayed with oil. Cover with tin foil. (I spray the inside of the foil, too, so the cheese doesnt stick) Bake 45 - 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
