Cde Malaika is spot on! It was wrong for people to hold night vigils in support of President Zuma during his trials of fraud, money laundering, racketeering, corruption and rape! It is still wrong for people to hold night vigils in support of Malemas trial on evading taxes and thuggerism. It is even worse to support a candidate who has defrauded the SASSA card at the expense of child support grants beneficiaries and pensioners who mostly depend on them as the only source of income while there is a standing resolution of Mangaung ANC Conference that those who are involved in criminal and legal cases should recuse themselves from leadership positions and ambitions and clear their names first. All these cases are shameful and unfortunate! South Africans must rise above all this pettiness of insults on the faces of the taxpayers and the poor in South Africa by our so-called leaders! I concur with Malaika and I say, to hell with fraudsters and thugs! I refuse to embrace and celebrate mediocrity irrespective of who engages in mediocre activities! The issue here is not about challenging the principle of innocent until proven guilty. Leaders and revolutionaries must at all times try their best to be morally upright and beyond reproach, though we do not expect perfection from any living soul. I say it without apology, fear or favour because these are my views and opinions on the matters in question! Ndaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
