Celebrating Miss Ladybugs 7th birthday today - thanks Papa Hal Sutton for breeding such a unique little Westie. Although she is not literally a rescue, to me she is. She was originally purchased by a lady whod never had a Westie, but wanted one like her best friend had, so she got this baby.....kept her less than a week and returned her to the breeder, saying she was too much to handle, interfered in her life, etc.... Soon thereafter, I decided I wanted a second Westie and contacted Hal....he told me about this little baby - 10wks old at the time. I went to Savannah the next day and brought her back home with me. Well, I will be the very first to say, along with all that know her, indeed - she is a pistol and then some - unlike any other Westie Ive known. The Westie-tude is bigger than can be imagined, the world reports to Miss Bug daily and she has trained me - her final owner and human, extremely well. I am on Bug-duty around-the-clock and from what she tells me, I do a pretty good job. She has presented this human with some definite challenges, but Ive enjoyed every minute Ive had her and would not trade her for the world - it is truly a Bugs-world at this house.
