Celebration of Ganesh Puja is not allowed in certain schools, especially convent schools and schools managed by Christian missionaries, especially St Joseph, Xaviers and Cambridge etc. Central government should issue directive forthwith to all school management authorities to organize Ganesh Puja compulsorily. Any management authority which fails to comply with the directive should be duly punished with dercognition of their schools and if required by initiating criminal proceedings. Most of the English medium schools unlike a few years ago now have become breeding cells of anti cultural activities.
