Celebrity spotting! Walking with Hailey to a conference with her Science teacher, I glanced up to see Silken Laumann striding towards me with her husband and son. On the outside, I tried to act cool... Oh yeah...I see celebrities all the time. Aint no big thing. But on the inside, I was jumping up and down like a toddler hopped up on Skittles, clapping and giggling, yelling oh my gosh.....you are right in front of me, a living, breathing, amazing Canadian sports heroine/goddess....please may I have your autograph????? I explained to Hailey who she was. All she said was... Oh yeah...that kid is in my class. I guess you have to be of my generation or older to remember her...but how thrilling! ...and for my American friends who may not know to whom I refer, just Google Silken Laumann...
