Certain bloggers are accusing Michael Voris of rash judgment and gossip for his claims about Fr. Barron in his January 6th Vortex. To them, we say: We stand by our reporting and by our source. With all due respect, these bloggers are either ignorant of Fr. Barrons very public position, or theyre deliberately raising a red herring in order to distract from the real issue--which is Fr. Barrons non-Scriptural, anti-Tradition, ultimately NON-CATHOLIC theology on hell and the so-called reasonable hope that 100% of men are saved--a position Fr. Barron has publicly promoted and defended, and which his comments we reported on only reinforce. There is no rash judgment in reporting on semi-private comments he made that he has ALREADY MADE AND DEFENDED (and more outrageously) in public. These bloggers need to get a clue--or stop blogging altogether. We eagerly look forward to the day Fr. Barron will publicly retract this absurd and dangerous position, which borders on heresy, considering the good content he has produced in other areas.
