Cha-ching! As it turns out, Rori Phelps has successfully won the Headcannon Lottery with the topic Finnick&Annie! Congratulations to Rori! Now, because of his exceptional win, I, Cato, have written a full headcannon on the subject. Please enjoy! ~The Perfect Match~ The 70th annual Hunger Games was nearing, and career Annie Cresta from District 4 couldnt help but feel ill-prepared. Confident, though unready. As she sprung up in the morning on the second day of training, she couldnt wait to carefully spend every second of her day preparing for the dreadful ones to come. The one thing she wasnt expecting was to awake to the smell of maple bacon wafting into her nostrils. She hurried and slipped into her training gear so she could investigate the scent shed always lusted for. Hello, beautiful! Finnick Odair flirted from behind a shining obsidian counter top, flipping bacon inside a large sizzling fry pan. He was wearing a sky blue bathrobe with matching slippers. This was his average mentoring apparel when not in public. Youre really trying hard, arent you? Annie taunted as she plucked a bacon slice from a plate of them Finnick had already cooked, biting off the crispy end of it and reacting with an expression of absolute bliss. What do you mean, trying hard? I am always inclined to point out true beauty when I see it. Finnick replied with a charming, meaningful smile, maneuvering a slice of finished luscious bacon onto the plate. What I mean is that I can see through your antics. Annie combated, reaching her fingers, lightly drizzled with bacon grease, up to Finnicks chiseled face. Youre obsessed with the attention you get from people, Finnick. Admit it- you couldnt hold a steady relationship with someone to save a life! Annie said this with a loving yet mischievous smirk, as if to prove a point. Finnick took time to ponder about it, carrying the last piece of bacon with his spatula onto the mound of meat piled atop the plate. After a short pause, he glided Annies hand from his face and brought it chest-level to himself in an affectionate grasp. Annie, you are the only girl who has ever questioned my sincerity. The love I have for you will never go away because everything Im not resides in you. Annie was nearly entranced, but remained skeptic of love as shed always been. Reluctantly breaking out of Finnicks grip, she snatched a healthy handful of bacon from the plate and a raspberry-filled pastry from the luxurious Capitol pantry. Once satisfied with her to-go breakfast, she began to saunter toward the double-doors leading out of the room. You know, Im starting to like you, Odair! Annie informed Finnick in a sweet voice before clicking the doors shut behind her. Well thats it! Thanks for reading! If you liked it, please like the post or share it with your friends! Stay tuned for the next Headcannon Lottery thatll be posted tomorrow! Thanks again! :D -Cato-
