Chad Miller is the new King of the theater in Nassau County! His performance tonight in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum was stellar. I have sang, danced and played in bands with Chad since we were in the seventh grade - ending with being Elwood Blues to his Jake last year (photo above). Tonight was the crowning jewel in his long list of performances. I could NOT be MORE EXCITED for him!!! Those of you who have not seen it, you may be able to find a ticket for the final two shows. MAYBE! Special and honorable mention must go to our friends: Aspera Sirene who portrayed a beautiful and exotic belly dancer. (Like ACDC she shook it All Night Long!) Cory Gentry who was interestingly cast to portray a virgin boy looking for a bride. Mark Cameron was cast in his perfect roll - A Roman Captain with all the swagger of Adonis himself. Jason Uhlig was the master of facial expression. His role required communication with the audience with minimal sound. Magnificently and masterfully he led the audience to many laughs. I had other friends in the show who also helped to make the night a success. Bravo!!! Three huge Huzzahs to Jill Bosie Dillingham and her husband Greg for taking the initiative to found the Amelia Musical Playhouse!!! Huzzah! Huzzah!! HUZZAH!!! Finally, did I mention what a STELLAR job Chad did? Ladies and gentlemen, the reigning King of local musical theater - Chad Miller!!!!!!
