The recurring frustration of dropping down the notification list to hit an item and then be presented that stupid message box: stay on this page or leave this page. How about Facebook when I click a link you either make it go to the page I clicked on because you know thats what clicking on a link usually means OR you open the link in a tab or god forbid since some idiot said its not good web practice back in the early days of pop up abuse, a pop up window (browsers should enable per domain overrides for allowing pop ups which would mitigate their abuse)...I often want to just read an item quickly or preview it and then dismiss it...having to page navigate for each notification read is incredibly frustrating. I think I complained about this some time last year...its that annoying to me!! 1st world problems I guess.
