Chad and I were trimming trees today when he accidentally got a branch that had a Western Meadowlark sack (they put their eggs in a sack shaped nest) in it. The sack tumbled to the ground and two of the babies fell out. The kids and I worked vigorously to get the babies up off the ground without touching them for fear they would be abandoned. Chad Campsey helped us tuck them back in and he climbed up in Tue tree and wired the little sack nest back on a limb. As he was climbing up, the babies stretched their necks out and chirped at him. It was cute. I know they were just baby birds, but he helped me do it because it was important to me. That is one of the reasons why I love him.
