Voting polls in Hunterdon are open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. The Ballot includes selection for Governor, State Legislative Offices, Sheriff, Surrogate, Freeholders, Local and School Board. Heres what is happening in and around Hunterdon County: WEATHER • According to the National Weather Service, todays forecast will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. HAPPENING TODAY • Newcomers and Friends Club of Central Hunterdon County will meet on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Hunterdon Christian Church, 71 Summer Road, in Three Bridges. IN THE NEWS • A man who apparently set himself on fire on the bike path between the Delaware River and Route 29 yesterday morning was already dead when police, fire and rescue workers arrived at about 9:45 a.m., according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III. • A new documentary film about the political process, titled “100 Signatures,” made its Hunterdon County debut on Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Flemington Elks. It is made by the husband and wife team of Dean and Nicole Greco of Raritan Township. • Frenchtown Chief School Administrator David Bailey will likely be the next superintendent of Holland Township Schools. WHAT ELSE? • The Frenchtown Fire Department and Frenchtown Police Department hosted a joint open house Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Fire House on Second Street.
